I’m thrilled to share Wizards Homestead, the first iteration of my Senior Thesis 1 project. This level has been a fantastic learning experience, allowing me to expand my knowledge and skills in Unreal Engine. Throughout the process, I worked on blueprinting, materials, vertex painting, landscape painting, height maps, and more.
The lighting and Niagara System effects, like the fireflies, are among my favorite features in this environment. They really helped bring the scene to life and capture the magical atmosphere I envisioned.
Looking ahead to next semester, I plan to incorporate additional Niagara System effects, such as water splashes, more dynamic ground fog, and animated elements around the wizard’s tower (once completed). The environment will also expand to include a more mystical and magical area on the wizard's side, contrasting with the rest of the village.
